The Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC), a State Corporation under the Ministry of Health, is excited to announce a massive recruitment drive to fill 203 vacancies in various departments. Established by an Act of Parliament and operational since 1927, KMTC is dedicated to training professionals in various health sector disciplines, conducting cutting-edge research, and offering consultancy services.

We are looking for highly motivated, qualified, and experienced individuals to join our dynamic team in the following positions:

Positions

1. Driver II

As a Driver II, you will be responsible for operating college vehicles to transport staff, students, and goods. Your role will include maintaining vehicle cleanliness and ensuring they are in good working condition. You will also ensure adherence to traffic laws and safety regulations, maintain accurate logs of travel and fuel consumption, and perform minor repairs and timely reporting of major issues.

2. Lecturer II (Clinical Medicine)

As a Lecturer II in Clinical Medicine, you will be responsible for delivering lectures, conducting practical sessions, and mentoring students in the Clinical Medicine program. You will develop and update curricula, prepare teaching materials, and assess student performance through examinations and assignments.

3. Lecturer II (Nursing)

As a Lecturer II in Nursing, you will teach various nursing courses, supervise clinical practices, and provide academic advising to students. Your role will include curriculum development, research, and participation in community outreach programs.

4. Lecturer II (Orthopedic & Trauma Medicine)

As a Lecturer II in Orthopedic & Trauma Medicine, you will educate students on orthopedic principles and trauma care. You will conduct lectures, practical sessions, and research in your specialty, ensuring students receive comprehensive training.

5. Lecturer II (Medical Social Work)

As a Lecturer II in Medical Social Work, you will teach courses related to social work in medical settings. Your duties will include delivering lectures, guiding students in field placements, and engaging in research and community service activities.

6. Lecturer II (Health Records & Information Technology)

As a Lecturer II in Health Records & Information Technology, you will instruct students on managing health records and utilizing information technology in healthcare. You will prepare course materials, conduct lectures and practicals, and evaluate student performance.

7. Lecturer II (Medical Engineering)

As a Lecturer II in Medical Engineering, you will provide instruction on medical equipment technology, including maintenance and repair. Your responsibilities will include developing curricula, delivering lectures, and supervising student projects and internships.

8. Lecturer II (Medical Laboratory Science)

As a Lecturer II in Medical Laboratory Science, you will educate students in laboratory techniques and diagnostics. You will develop course content, conduct practical sessions, and evaluate student progress through various assessments.

9. Lecturer II (Radiography & Imaging)

As a Lecturer II in Radiography & Imaging, you will teach radiography techniques and imaging technology. You will deliver lectures, oversee practical training, and engage in research to enhance the curriculum.

10. Lecturer II (Nutrition and Dietetics)

As a Lecturer II in Nutrition and Dietetics, you will educate students on nutritional science and dietetic practices. Your role will include developing and delivering lectures, supervising practical sessions, and conducting research in nutrition.

11. Lecturer II (Dental Technology)

As a Lecturer II in Dental Technology, you will teach dental technology courses, including the design and fabrication of dental prosthetics. You will develop teaching materials, conduct lectures, and supervise lab sessions and student projects. READ MORE

12. Planning Manager

As a Planning Manager, you will oversee the development and implementation of the college’s strategic plans. Your role will include conducting needs assessments, coordinating with various departments, and ensuring alignment with the college’s goals and objectives.

13. Deputy Finance Manager

As a Deputy Finance Manager, you will assist in managing the college’s financial operations, including budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance with financial regulations. You will also provide financial analysis and support to various departments.

14. Principal Planning Officer

As a Principal Planning Officer, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing planning activities within the college. Your role will include developing and implementing planning frameworks, monitoring progress, and ensuring the effective allocation of resources.

15. Senior Lecturer (Pharmacy)

As a Senior Lecturer in Pharmacy, you will provide advanced instruction in pharmaceutical sciences. Your duties will include developing curricula, conducting research, and mentoring junior faculty and students.

16. Senior Lecturer (Community Oral Health)

As a Senior Lecturer in Community Oral Health, you will educate students on oral health practices and community health initiatives. Your responsibilities will include curriculum development, research, and community outreach.
