Kenya Railways (KR) is a State Corporation in Ministry of Road and Transport. The Corporation was established in 1978 under the Kenya Railways Corporation Act (Cap 397 of the laws of Kenya) to take over the railways undertakings of the East African Railways Corporation in Kenya in 1977 when the management of Kenya Railways was transferred from Kenya to the Kenya Railways Corporation. Its mandate is to provide efficient and effective rail and inland waterways transport.

The Corporation seeks to recruit qualified and competent staff to fill the following vacant positions:

\APPLICATION PROCEDURE

Interested and qualified candidates MUST complete the Kenya Railways application form KRBR100 that is available on the website, attach their testimonials, certified copies of certificates, National Identification Card (ID) and Curriculum Vitae (CV), to be received by 16th July, 2024 at 5.00pm. East African Time (EAT).

The details of duties, responsibilities and qualifications for each position are available on the Kenya Railways website; www.krc.co.ke.

When applying, quote the reference number of the job advertised and the job application letter.

Applicants MUST note the following documents are required:
a) An updated Curriculum Vitae including current and past experiences, positions held, level of education, current and expected remuneration, email address and telephone contacts of at least three (3) professional referees.
b) Certified copies of academic and professional certificates; and
c) Valid Certificate of Good Conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI)

Successful candidates will be required to present and satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010 by providing the following documents;
a) Valid Clearance Certificate from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC);
b) Valid Tax Compliance Certificate from Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA);
c) Valid Clearance Certificate from Higher Education Loans Board (HELB);
d) Valid Clearance Certificate from Credit Reference Bureau (CRB); and
e) Current Report from an approved Credit Reference Bureau (CRB).
